Growing

Grow Baton Rouge is about real impact.  That real impact will be in actual food production.  Our model and strategy is simple, engage & educate citizens to grow, maximize the amount of food being grown per square of available land, and utilize a unique distribution model to feed those and need and get the produce to food deserts in the community.

Our model involves:

• Community Gardens
• Green Houses
• Citizens doing container gardening
• Traditional & Non Traditional Farming Partnerships

If you would like to begin growing at home, not only are we willing to help you learn enough to get started, but we are willing to provide you with soil and seeds to begin growing immediately.  We want to help remove all excuses.
