Educating

Part of Grow Baton Rouge’s solution is in education, but not necessarily traditional.  Our model involves a combination of experiential learning, exposure and mentoring from current growers, class room and web based knowledge sharing.   So from educational partners such as traditional universities, to the green thumb grower who produces great crops every year, WE are focused on wrap around education with one primary goal… food production!

Opportunities to learn include:

• At partnering school or organization. 

Hands on experience:

• Increase your knowledge by helping to manage our gardens and growing spaces.
